The Log Cabin Lodge

The lodge is beautiful, you can tell a lot love has been put in there by all The special details it has. We had The Barrel Room and it was very Nice. The dogs and cats are really sweet. The staff is also very friendly and try their best to make your stay comfy. There are also many options for Breakfast which is really Nice if you are staying here multiple nights like we did. the view is just MESMERIZING. There are wineries nearby were you van do a tasting and have some lunch

Great views, great accommodation, amazing staff. Wonderful breakfast. This is a perfect location to either relax or explore what is around the area as it is very centrally located but out of town enough to have the most amazing views. I could go on and on. We will be back and I cannot wait!

Quiet location, surrounded by vineyards and vineyards. We liked the beautiful, cozy rooms with exceptional furnishings. Excellent breakfast on the covered terrace with a beautiful view of the green. Friendly, helpful staff.

We were allowed to spend 2 wonderful nights here in November 2021. We were very warmly received by Roxy and Simba, the dogs living there. In addition, we were very well received by a lady in front of the place. The lodge has a dreamy location and the rooms are lovingly decorated. If something is missing, all you have to do is report it and you will try to enable it. Breakfast is prepared fresh every morning and you may even wish for what you would like to eat. At the lodge there is a pool as well as a hot tub that has been specially heated for us. The wineries are easily accessible by car.

Nestled in a beautiful valley you will find the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and fitted with everything a traveller needs. You will start your day with a healthy morning breakfast and fresh roasted coffee. Guests have access to a tea/coffee station throughout the day or any other beverages. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a better stay. Definitely will come back again❣

The Log Cabin Lodge is a unique facility, situated on a beautiful, pristine wine farm. Abundance of bird life, breathtaking views & stylishly furnished spacious rooms. If you want space & comfort, this is the place for you. The bed is double the normal double bed for example. Friendly staff & a generous breakfast. Will be back.

The log cabin is one of the best accommodations I have stayed at. The staff is super friendly, the facilities (including a free hot tub) are amazing and it’s located in a beautiful spot. They have a nice fire place which they light on cold days. There is a pool overlooking the vine yards. The rooms have beautiful views. Breakfast is plenty and lovely. The coffee in the rooms and in the living room are great (fresh beans and a nespresso machine). The bed is big, comfortable and has a variety of pillows. Everything is very clean and they have 2 lovely dogs and 2 lovely cats. It really was wonderful! One thing. Check the location and the activities you want to do. Stellenbosch is big and things are quite distant from each other.

Very nice place to stay in Stellenbosh if you want to be away from town. We have been welcomed and showed around our room and the facility. We stayed at the barred room and loved the attention to details put into the decoration. The bed was huge, kitchen fully equipped, and with nice accessories provided (mosquito repellent, sunblock, beach towel, etc). You can walk on the trails of the farm, use the bicycle available on the farm ans even get the jacusi heated up for you - with view on the mountain... The staff was very friendly and helpful and the different breakfast options good and consistent... A very nice place to stay at...

The staff. The lounge area (especially the fireplace). Simba and Roxy (the 2 dogs). The relaxed environment. The constant communication between the host and I - always felt well informed. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was well maintained. What a fantastic experience!

Beautiful little hideaway to spend great quality time with loved one's. They had bicycles, you could take long walks, even go for wine tasting at Louisville winefarm itself. The cabin is centrally located to other great restaurants, winefarms and other entertainment. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was amazing! 🥞🥓🍳 I will definitely go back.
