Bringing in the muscle
It would be 13 months before finishing my MSc in September 2017. October 2017 marked the time when The Log Cabin became a primary focus.

The first step was clearing 10 years of overgrowth.

Too wet
Before we got started we hit our first roadblock; the ground was still too wet from winter rains for the digger to operate on. We to put the clearing on hold until November whilst the ground dried.

With the ground slightly dryer we were able to operate again.

By mid December we were still hard at work fixing and building every day of the week.
